Frequently asked questions
Where is my data stored?
Entirely on your device, in the app's private database. There is no account and no cloud sync. See the privacy policy for details.
How do I back up my data?
Your device backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) include the app's data automatically. For an extra copy you control, use the app's CSV export from the History or Trip screens and save the file wherever you like.
If I delete the app, is my data gone?
Yes. Deleting the app deletes its database. Export first if you want to keep your records, or make sure a device backup exists.
Why don't I see penetration or counting fields for a session?
Optional fields only appear in a session's detail view when they were recorded. You can add them to any past session with Edit.
What does "EV vs Actual" mean?
Expected value (EV) is what the math says your play should earn on average, given the rules, spread, and conditions you logged. Actual is what really happened. Short-term results are dominated by variance — the shaded band shows the normal range — so the two lines only tell a story over many hours of play.
Does the app give betting advice?
No. BlackjackTrack is a record-keeping and analysis tool. It doesn't offer gambling, real-money play, or advice on how to bet.
